Since 2009, Sean Smith has been providing counseling to teens and adults with substance abuse and mental health conditions. His specializations are Addiction, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and ADHD. Sean enjoys helping students who are experiencing both mental health and academic performance challenges and utilizes his prior experience as a Teacher of 8 years. In addition, Sean has a multitude of experience with helping individuals cope with the difficulties that are certain to accompany a Traumatic Brain injury.
Sean is a Licensed Professional Counselor in PA and an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Sean earned a Master’s degree at Walden University in Education in 2009. He completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Chestnut Hill College in 2012. The theoretical approach that Sean widely utilizes is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
